From the Colectivo Ornitológico Cigüeña Negra (COCN) was begun in 1.998 a project whose serious purpose that of to try to Andalusian hemipode (Turnix sylvatica sylvatica), to try to determining the volume of population and the possible face problems to their/its/your/his conservation.

This project that serious accomplished at level of voluntary was requiring a series of previous studies that facilitated the accomplishment of the same to the participants, where to seek to this kind and as recognizing it.

The first paragraph, already concluded of the project, consisted of these three investigation projects on this kind of those which would depart the projects rest of voluntary to accomplish in field,.

These already concluded preliminary studies were:

1. Bibliographical review, appointments and description grouping of the habitat of the Andalusian hemipode through the accomplishment of a I catalogue of vegetation of the principal zone with presence of this kind.

2. Take of data biométric and amplification to the description taxonómic through the conference of 12 skins in museums. (Photographs, drawings ...).

3. Description and measure of the song of the Andalusian hemipode ( graph ic sound )
